After his 3rd place last year in the Oakley Bali world junior championship, Ramzi Boukhiam Came this year with an expected 2nd place behind Gabriel MEDINA on there last year on the Junior tour.

With his amazing back hand, powerful surf, Ramzi is ready to conquer the WQS, that he is already doing in the best way, as last september 2013, he won a 6* WQS event. The name of Ramzi Boukhiam was on the highest place of the pedestral in the Zarautz pro, taking over the 1st place.

Morocco is proud to see some of his surfing talents (Ramzi Boukhiam) rank high on the pedestrals in Europe and globaly. Moroccan surfers have tried for years to rank high on the ASP, and here we are having one of Morocco's best surfers that have ever lived bringing some hope to the entire surfing scene in Morocco

Today was a Memorable Morocco surfing day. No body around the lineup, Great waves, good company and a very good Moroccan Meal served right after the surf by our Surf guide. Neil, Mich, Raul Negro, Jon, Younes were all loving it and enjoy the sunshine and the barrels that the coast line in Morocco offered them that day

Laarbi, used to be the the cool guy that used to hang out with the traveller surfer coming to visit Taghazout, from there he got inspired a lot and decided to start his own surf shop, after beeing succesful in his first business, Making copies of Reef Flip Flops, and trading Moroccan goods with Branded surfwear brought by westerners. Very difficult in the beguinning, he found quiet few difficulties to get the business kick off. The name of his surf shop was: Marock'n Roll.

With a very original logo: a man with a jellaba (Traditional Moroccan out fit) he started selling a lot of localy made t-shirts with very cool designs and phrases. his t-shirts are what made the sucess of his business. Now adays, Marock'n Roll t-shirts are what Bintang T-shirts are for Bali.

Othman Choufani is a local surfer from Agadir, a good friend of Ramzi Boukhiam, they both competed in the ASP Juniors. Othman Choufani was Rip Curl Sponsored, he took part in several competitions where he represented Morocco either ISA or ASP.

Othman Choufani now lives in Biaritz France, where he trains studies and competes. He comes back to Morocco when ever he has the time to surf some amazing Moroccan waves that he grew up surfing. He is a hot local of the points in Morocco and also one of the best surfers of the Agadir/ Taghazout region and i'd say Morocco too. He like to go big, and loves to charge big surf.

Mirleft is a little fisherman village located 150 km south of Agadir, that has been the seen of many resistance during the French and Spanish occupation of Morocco since 1912.

It has been developed around fishing, a summer destination for a lot of Moroccan expats in Europe. Nowadays, surfing is starting to become one of the factors of devellopement of the area, already 1 surf school, and a really nice surf camp located 3 km north of Mileft: Aftas Trip.
