January 2011, with barca do Binho, there was one carioca and only one with the crew of Brazilians that invaded some of the Jewels around Taghazout. Marcelo Trekinho was for sure a slab specialist, and very experienced tube rider. With an amazing style, he impressed more than one that was present in these epic conditions

Marcelo Trekinho was impressed by the quality of waves in Morocco and was often repeating " esa onda da pa distruir" (this waves is rippable) which he did in abriliant way.

In January 2011, Binho Nunes came with a crew of Brazilians (barca do Binho) to the area of Taghazout, and more specificly to Africa Extrem Surf Camps. One an Epic day at BOILERS, all the kids from the near by village of the unmissible light house of CAP GHIR came around Binho Nunes attracted by his sympaty and constant smile. They called him Haj Binho. He had to hold that nick name during all his stay in Taghazout Morocco.

Binho Nunes left Morocco wanting to come back as soon as possible to get some of these square barrels that  amazes the more curious surfers. Morocco is not only Point breaks, it is also intense waves with square barrels

The wave of Safi is an amazing wave in Morocco, probably the best of Morocco!!! When the perfect conditions are together, the surf spot of the " Garden" in the city of Safi take airs of a mixture of Kirra and J-bay as described it Gary Elkerton.

Althow it is not a very consistant spot, the spot of Safi gave us many many good times out there!!!

Safi Barrels

For several years already, Safi is known for its very long barrels, super hollow, and fast. Many surfers from around the world dream to surf that wave, and some of them did already. Surfing Safi is an experience of a life time, when it is on, it is ON!!!

January 6th 2011, a group of Brazilian surfers came to Morocco for a surf trip. Fabio Gouveia, Marcelo Trekinho, Binho Nunes and Marco Giorgi. They had amazing waves and they all enjoyed all what the Moroccan coast line could offer them of different types of EPIC RIGHT HANDERS.
Marco Giorgi dominated what he called the most emotional wave of the trip. He had this epic super deep barrel after a late drop in a wave that has nothing to be intimated from in front of waves like Backdoor or The Box as i've previously heard from people that had surfed all these surf spots.

Fabio Gouveia Brazilian Legend surfing Taghazout

January 6th 2011, Fabio GOUVEIA Landed in Agadir International Airport and head off to Taghazout. Taking base in this surfing Mecca of Morocco, he explored various spots in the area and claimed that the Moroccan waves were one of the best right handers he ever ridden. From Hollow slabs to Endless point breaks, he had the oportunity to have everyday world class surf, tajines and very hospital Moroccan surfing community.
