The Blog of surfin in Morocco
The surfing started in Morocco in the Mid 50's, braught to this part of the Atlantic coast by American GI's. The first surf board to surf a Moroccan wave was a Dakota Board in 1956, and it was in Mehdia plage north of Rabat. Since then, the surfing was slowly devolloped mainly by a community of travellers, that ended
up further south to discover this surfers paradise, the bay of Taghazout. Welcome all of you to follow with us all what is going on around surfing in this beautiful country with an amazing coast line, just as long as 2200 Km. We will try to help you explore it by inspiring you with all what our country can offer.
